本公司属国有大型企业，是中国酿酒工业协会酒精分会副理事长单位，天津市百强企业之一。公司下设酒精厂、白酒厂、饲料厂、轻工机械厂、水泥厂、发电厂、有机化工厂。主要产品年生产能力：酒精20万吨、白酒1.5万吨、饲料9.6万吨、二氧化碳2万吨、氧气42万瓶、醋酸乙酯0.8万吨，自备电厂发电量9000千瓦/小时，在满足企业用电同时略有盈余，轻工机械厂主要承接酒精生产设备及DDGS工程设备的制造和安装。“天芦牌”食用酒精荣获轻工部优、天津市优和市特优产品称号。
